Eason Chan (陳奕迅; Chan Yick-shun) is a prominent male singer in Hong Kong’s music industry. Eason Chan has been praised by Time magazine as a front runner in the next generation of Cantopop. He is considered by media to be Hong Kong’s third “god of song” after Samuel Hui and Jacky Cheung. In 2012, Time Out Hong Kong crowned Chan as the “King of Asian Pop”. Chan is ranked #6 in the 2013 Forbes China Celebrity Top 100 List. His Cantonese album U87 was listed in 2005 by Time magazine as one of “Five Asian Albums Worth Buying”. Chan is a multiple winner of the prestigious Golden Melody Award. In 2003, he won “Best Mandarin Male Singer” and “Best Mandarin Album” for Special Thanks To….
