Inside the Chinese pirates’ den: hacking Xbox360 & Playstation 3

A few days ago we found the office of a Chinese pirate of Microsoft Xbox360 and Sony PlayStation 3.

The office is inside a shopping mall located in a city in Southern China. Every day they flash tens of game systems. Besides their work of console repairs, their main activity is flashing Xbox 360 drives and hacking a wide range of consoles (Wii, PS, DS, etc). In China, piracy is a wide market. Most of the consoles sold to customers are already flashed. In many shopping malls is easy to find shops selling just copied games, especially for Microsoft and Nintendo systems.
