A famous wandering sports commentator suffering from a marriage crisis flashes back – in a mental Moviola – to his three-year marriage, his loved-hated wife, their little boy’s birth and his rival, seeking some however temporary solution. Director Fu Jingsheng, who personally supervises both the lighting and his wild camera, depicts a high bourgeoisie milieu which bears intentional resemblance to a Western fashion commercial. In such a context, the austere divorce court sounds like an archaic institution. Tv images and computers are the rulers of lifes, just like in our world…
