Tao Hong

Tao Hong (陶虹, born January 15, 1972, Wuxi, Jiangsu, China) is a Chinese actress and former synchronized swimmer.

As a synchronized swimmer, she was a national champion who represented China at several international events from 1987 to 1991. As an actress, Tao has won over a dozen national and international awards from 1997 to 2015. Internationally, Tao is probably best-known for her role in the Academy Award-winning film The Red Violin (1998).
