Located in Xiangyun County, being first set up in 813 A.D. It is rumored that it is the holy land of monks practicing Buddhism and improving their attainments in Yunnan.
祥云水目山 Xiangyun Shuimu Mountain
It is entitled to the name “the Top Temple of the Chan Sect in Yunnan”. A famous monk Dandang left numerous historic relics. 50 monks towers are now existing on the hill, becoming the most magnificent tower forest in Yunnan. The rare Buddhist relics were left in the underground palace of the towering forest—fleshly Buddhist relics.
