Meet Ming-Han, a passionate police officer who, while on duty with his colleague Zi-Qing, accidentally picks up a red envelope. To his surprise, a group of people suddenly appear and proclaim him their “son-in-law”, urging him to marry their deceased child – who happens to be a dead guy! Shocked and unable to accept this proposition, Ming-Han’s life takes a turn for the worse. He begins to see the ghost of his would-be husband, Mao-Mao, which terrifies him to no end.
In a desperate attempt to rid himself of Mao-Mao, Ming-Han visits a master who informs him that the only way to free himself from the ghost is to fulfill all of Mao-Mao’s wishes, including marrying him. Forced to comply, Ming-Han finds himself on a fantastical journey filled with laughter and tears as he helps Mao-Mao fulfill his desires, all while the ghostly partner assists in a drug smuggling investigation.
This story follows the unique relationship between a straight man and a gay ghost, full of twists and turns that will keep you engaged until the very end.
