Story Outline: A feng shui master (played by Lam Ka Tung) is determined to help Feng Jie overcome a “deadly calamity” in her life. However, he fails to prevent her tragic fate when she leaves by herself. In the midst of his grief, he coincidentally meets a young tea restaurant owner (played by Yeung Lok Man) who has mistakenly delivered the wrong order. This encounter triggers the young owner’s inherent urge to kill.

The master predicts that the young owner will face imprisonment for murder, so the owner, fearing another stint in jail, asks the master for help in changing his fate. An old policeman (played by Ng Ting Yip), who once saw the young owner killing a cat, is convinced that he is a born psychopath who cannot escape his bloodthirsty nature. The master, on the other hand, believes that if it’s innate, then the problem lies not with the young owner but with fate itself.

The master employs various feng shui techniques and a mix of Western and Chinese metaphysics in his attempts to change the course of events, but human calculations are no match for divine intervention, and he ultimately fails. At his wit’s end, the old policeman closes in, the killer watches intently, and the young Feng Jie (played by Wu Yong Shi) presents a deadly temptation that only intensifies the young owner’s desire to kill, leading him towards a path of murder.

As the master faces a mental breakdown, the prophesied calamity looms closer.
