Louis Cheung

Louis Cheung (Chinese: 張繼聰) is a Hong Kong Cantopop recording-artist, songwriter, and actor. He is an alumnus of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting. He had his first staged drama in 1997, and he had performed a total of more than 20 sets of stage performance, including the classics “A Streetcar Named Desire”, acting as the main character, Stanley Kowalnski. In 1984, He had his first play in front of camera, including Well known advertising – Nestle instant milk’s “The dairy cows raised at 15th floor”. He had taken more than 100 sets of TV shows, movies and advertising. Louis Cheung joined in the music industry at 2005, he got “Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation – Best Male Newcomer (Bronze)” in the same year, and “Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation – music composer award” and “Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation – singersong writer award”, he got much recognition for his creative achievements. He also written many songs for other famous canto-pop singers, such as Eason Chan, Leo Ku, Hacken Lee, Eric Suen, and Joey Yung. His famous works including “Woodgrain”, “Hard to detect” and so on. Louis Cheung joined TVB for contractual artists, mainly for filming TV dramas, his first work was “Inbound Troubles”, played the role Sung Wai-chiu, as the supporting actor. After a series of filming, his career began developed in he television industry. Ten, he filmed “Brother’s Keeper”, “Gilded Chopsticks”, “Black Heart White Soul” and “Come On, Cousin” in 2013, which had good performances, he can act as a baddie or comedy character with critically acclaimed. He got five nominations at TVB Anniversary Awards 2014, and ultimately won for “Vastly Improved Actor”, his acting gain recognition. In 2015, he starred at “Raising the Bar”, acted as Quinton Chow Chi-pok, the second actor, he acted as couple with his co-star Grace Chan, their performance had many people to watch. In August 2015, he was promoted to the first actor for first time, starred at Momentary Lapse of Reason with the best actress Tavia Yeung, new actress Lin Xiawei,and Matt Yeung, becoming the famous artist. He is married to Kay Tse in 2007, and his son James Cheung was born in the same year.
