MUKZIN gets its name from the “mystery fan” that is said to bring luck to oriental legends. Kate Han and George Feng founded it in 2014.
They interpreted the magnificent and diverse eastern culture and brought about a new oriental aesthetic language in a brand-new dimension through the medium of design, using a pan-Asian perspective and blending traditional handcrafts with unorthodox modern design.
MUKZIN visited the four major international fashion weeks in Paris, London, Milan, and New York from 2018 to 2020, and was invited to participate in the MAXXI design exhibition.
Rome’s Museum of Contemporary Art. MUKZIN’s designs have appeared in VOGUE, BAZAAR, ELLE, L’OFFICIEL, and other global fashion publications on numerous occasions. MUKZIN was also named an “Oriental Symbol” by ELLE Italy.
