This is a great-tasting aged Pu-erh loose leaf from the Menghai area of Yunnan. The leaves are large and carry an awesome old flavor. Take a smell of these wet leaves to discover a real aged aroma.

This is a great Menghai tea that is only slightly shu (20%) to get the aged flavor. The rest of the taste is time and HK dry storage.

There is a great aftertaste that makes this tea memorable. A nice large leaf base that infuses quickly to brew a strong cup.

A good tea of shu/sheng process that was used a lot in the 1980s to help speed aging but give the tea some room to naturally oxidize with time.

That is what has happened with this good tea.
