Baoshan Stone Town – Located in the valley of the Jinsha River of Yulong County 110 kilometers away from the north of Lijiang.
It got its name because over 100 Naxi families live in a compact community on a gigantic stone like a mushroom.

宝山石头城 Baoshan Stone Town
Cliffs are around on three sides of the stone town, the stone slope on the other side sticks into the Jinsha River. There are only two gates on its south and north for people to enter and exit from the town, which can be said a real natural defense.
