Cloud Music Inc., a top streaming service provider in China, has announced that C-pop artist Chenyu Hua’s new album has sold over 760,000 copies and generated over RMB 20 million in sales on NetEase Cloud Music as of December 31, 2022.
The album, titled “希忘(Xiwang) Hope,” was released on the platform in December 2022 and quickly became the fourth best-selling digital album of all time, as well as the Best-selling Digital Album of 2022. Chenyu Hua, who has a strong following of over 6.5 million on NetEase Cloud Music, previously held the title of Best-selling Digital Album of 2020 with his fourth album “New World,” which has sold nearly 1.85 million copies and generated approximately RMB 37 million in sales on the platform to date.
The continuous success of Chenyu Hua’s digital album sales is proof of the wide-spread appreciation for the creative originality and expressive strength of his music, as well as the top-notch and enthusiastic fan base of NetEase Cloud Music.
