Red Gate Gallery is delighted to announce the exhibition Behind the Curtain of the Boudoir opening November 3rd through to November 22nd, 2018.

Behind the Curtain of the Boudoir is a continuation of Wang’s solo exhibition Ji at Red Gate in 2013. The artist turns his artistic exploration from the Gongbi techniques on canvas to woodcut print on paper and Chinese traditional printing methods. The series showcased in Behind the Curtain of the Boudoir shows a continuous creativity and use of mixed-media materials by Wang Lifeng. Through his contemporary perspective, the artist invites the viewers to discuss the deconstruction and inheritance of Chinese traditional culture and history.

Behind the Curtain of the Boudoir will hold an opening reception from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018.

红门画廊非常荣幸的宣布将于2018年11月3日至11月22日举办王利丰个展《菩萨蛮》。此次展览为王利丰继2013年于红门画廊举办的个展《籍》的延伸。艺术家从之前的布面工笔技艺转向探索纸本木刻版画和古版印刷技艺。此系列作品继续了王利丰对综合材料的创新运用，通过艺术家的当代视角同观者探讨对中国传统文化及历史的解构和继承。

《菩萨蛮》将于2018年11月3日，星期六下午4点到6点举办开幕酒会。
