Guangzhou wholesale market covers a wide range of women’s clothes, children’s clothes, lingerie, and adult products.

The market is composed of countless small shops: unlike street sex shops, that have colorful names to attract customers, the slogans of these activities have nothing of erotic. Vendors look bored; while some is sleeping, others play with computer and videogames and others chat with friends on mobile.

Although this is an adult product wholesale, the market looks more like a kindergarten. In a lot of shops, there are kids doing homework in front of dildos, playing between sex toys, or sleeping in a stroller.

Since these shops are managed by families with nowhere to go besides their shop, they bring their kids here. This is a very common practice in China: in fact, it is easy to find kids around their parents work place. It’s easy to see kids playing, studying, or sleeping in sex shops with open doors to the street.
